Did you know that we provide a service to return our branded hessian bags free of charge? And did you know that we offer refills for both our candles and diffusers? We are committed to reducing waste in every aspect of our business, which is why we avoid unnecessary or excessive presentation packaging, and select materials which are not only recyclable but also reuseable.
Hessian Bag Returns
We chose hessian bags for our candle packaging because they provide a sustainable and attractive way of packing and protecting our candles. Once your candle is home, the bag can be repurposed and can have a multitude of different uses around the house, from storing jewellery, to loose change, to small toys - the possibilities are endless! But our bags can also be reused for our candles, and we encourage customers to return to us any bags that are no longer needed to enable use to do this. To make this easier we offer a free postage return scheme.
How it works
We offer free postage for return of our branded hessian bags (those little fabric bags with our name and logo). All we ask is that the bags are clean and undamaged and that they are returned in quantities of no less than 6 bags at at time. We regret that we cannot provide free postage for smaller quantities as the costs are not viable for us.
We have made the process as simple as possible, although you will need access to a printer in order to print your free postage label. Once you have 6 or more bags ready for return, simply complete the form below and we will email you full instructions along with a postage label for printing. Your parcel can then be placed in the nearest post box. We will even reward you with 100 little green perks points (our customer reward scheme) as a thank you once your bags are safely received.*
Alternatively, if you are a customer based in the Whitley Bay or Tynemouth area we would be happy to collect any spare bags or other unwanted packaging from you when we deliver your next order.
*please allow 5 working days for issue of postage label following submission of webform, and for issue of reward points after delivery of bags. Regretfully we cannot provide reward points in the event that posted bags are not received, are received in an unusable condition or in multiples of less than 6, or where our instructions have not been followed or additional postage costs have been incurred due to exceeding parcel restrictions. We accept no responsibility for missing parcels or any damage occurring in transit. We retain the right to withdraw the scheme at any time.
Ready to return your bags?
If you have 6 or more branded bags ready to post please complete the below form. As we will purchase postage on receipt of the form we ask you not to do so unless your bags are ready and you are able to commit to posting them within 3 days of receiving your label.
Candle and Diffuser Refills
Each of our diffusers can be purchased in either a 100g glass bottle or as a 100g or 200g refill which comes in an aluminium bottle with replacement reeds.
We also offer a candle refill service where you can purchase three refilled tin candles in exchange for three empty tins. You can find further details in the Candle Refill item description in our shop.
