Reducing Waste: Refill and Reuse
As a company that is committed to reducing unnecessary waste, promoting reuse of our materials as much as possible is important to us. Every material we select is chosen not only for its recyclability, but, first and foremost, for its reusable properties. We avoid unnecessary wrapping and presentation boxes, which usually end up straight in the recycling. We also avoid the use of excessive packaging for our postal orders, while still ensuring your goods are well protected in transit.
Candle Refill Services
As a company that is committed to being as eco-friendly as possible, we are excited to offer a refill service for our copper tin candles. Once you purchase the refills you can return your used tin vessels to us free of charge and we will provide you with refills in the scents of your choice. Free delivery of the three refilled candles is included in our price. You don't even need to wash out your tins, we take care of that for you! All you need to do is carefully package up your tins and drop off for delivery at a convenient time. You can find further details in the Candle Refill item description in our shop.
Diffuser Refill Services
All of our reed diffusers have the option of purchasing a larger aluminium refill bottle and replacement reeds. These refills are exceptional value and provide enough supplies for 6 months of use.
Return and Bag Buy Back Scheme
We will take back any unwanted packaging from our products for reuse - including diffuser packaging, gift boxes and candle containers. In particular we encourage customers to return any unwanted hessian bags that are in a clean, undamaged and reusable condition, so that they can be reused. We can collect these items from our local customers when delivering your next order (to NE25, NE26 and NE30 postcodes) and they can also be dropped off at Philippa's Flowers in North Shields.
